The His Interests Are Mine [H.I.M.] Scholarship was brought to fruition by three like-minded African American men fundamentally driven by the goal of debunking the repugnant narrative of inner-city young men of color.
The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to three (3) High School graduates with commitments to attend a Post-Secondary Educational Institution.
They had a culmination event, where they also awarded 3 individuals.

Community Child Guidance Clinic is Presented with Gift from IT Direct in Support of New Transportation Service
Since 1959, the Community Child Guidance Clinic in Manchester has been assisting and supporting children with emotional and behavioral issues. They provide a special education day school and a system of child and family-focused mental health services, including early intervention programs, educational services, home-based interventions, and outpatient services.
IT Direct’s gift is in support of their new transportation service, which will be rolling out to students who attend the CCGC School this fall. This win-win-win initiative not only benefits CCGC by further diversifying revenue streams, but also the school districts that will save money, and most importantly, the students and families who will now have access to safer transportation that better meets their unique needs.
